Hambaker Pipelines Invest in New Paint Plant

Hambaker Pipelines has invested £100,000 in a new fittings paint plant at its Ilkeston site in Derbyshire. The new facility with a capacity of around 600 pieces per week, means the pipeline specialists have reduced their already impressive lead times further and now have complete quality control of their finished products.

Flexible delivery wins the business

The ability to meet specific, multi-date delivery windows has clinched a deal to supply ductile iron pipework for a major new Asda distribution centre at Avonmouth.

Hambaker Pipelines has supplied 250mm ductile iron pipework and fittings for the site’s fire main; a total of 1.6km of pipeline.

'The Drain Gang' aiming to smash fundraising target

A group of water industry colleagues, collectively known as ‘The Drain Gang’ are aiming high to raise thousands of pounds for four charities this autumn. All funds from their Kilimanjaro climb will go to four very worthwhile causes Help for Heroes, WaterAid, Macmillan Cancer Support and Breast Cancer Care.
